Laura sat down with H.E. Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei - Minister at the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure to talk about the UAE’s water security strategy 2036 to ensure sustainable access to water, and how will the country will secure its water needs and what initiatives are being taken.
The forum looked to highlight the link between water and climate action, with a focus on water security, the implementation of new technologies and opportunities for investment within the water industry.
The forum also highlighted and showcased business opportunities, cutting-edge technologies, and the outstanding progress achieved by the UAE, International Participants and Expo Partners within the sector.
Laura also sat down with H.E. Jose Luis Acero, Vice Minister of Water and Basic Sanitation for Colombia and Eva Martinez Diaz - Head of R&D Smart Services, Aqualia / Expert for Evaluation of R&D Projects at the European Commission to talk about Rethinking Water Distribution.

Laura was chosen to MC at the the EXPO 2020’s Climate and Biodiversity Business Forum by by DP World, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Estonia.

How do we work together to better manage climate change and protect biodiversity?’ The Thematic Business Forum highlighted and showcased business opportunities, cutting-edge technologies, and progress achieved by the UAE, International Participants and Expo Partners relevant to the Climate Change & Biodiversity sector.
This business forum is relevant with National Climate Change Plan of the UAE 2017–2050 - a comprehensive framework to address the causes and impacts of climate change, plan the transition into a climate resilient green economy and achieve a better quality of life.
Aswell as facilitating the event Laura also sat down with Hana Al Hashimi  - Head of the Office of the UAE Special Envoy for Climate Change UAE to talk about Combining Climate Action with Economic Growth
